Problem with Hardware Rendering & ATI Graphics Card

Dexter

I have read up on this and it seems to be a problem with ATI graphics cards, but I was wondering if there was any way to fix it.

I used to have an nVidia card, which played the game fine, but since switching to an ATI 4670, the game becomes very unresponsive and choppy when using hardware rendering. Switching to software rendering fixes the problem, but the game doesn't look as smooth, and the shadows are weird sometimes.

I have tried disabling all the advanced features on the graphics control panel, but have had no success  :'(.

Does any one else experience this problem?
Why does one park on a driveway, and drive on a parkway?

moin Dexter,

maybe you give it a try to have an older driver for your graphic card installed like a ATI Catalyst 6.1 or lower ...
... that's what i would try!

cheers
