planning a region

hi i was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions on how to like plan a region out becasue i see all of these like great pictures but i realy dont know how to plan my region that way. So if u have anything that would help please post here.


p.s. srry if i ask a lot of questions im kind of new to this

It's interesting how SimCity works,
but I'd start out by having a tile with a single town on it and expand out ward, moving your industrial to different tiles and expanding residential... Trial and error is the best method.
