I'm a bit surprise that there is not a topic about landmarks, both made by the Maxis team and many other players. In this topic we will share our favorite real world landmarks :)
I'll make the beginning with only one lovely image, the Parthenon

They can be Maxis or custom ones, I'm just interested to see how people have placed landmark buildings into their cities. Hell you can even contribute any buildings or areas you feel are landmarks in your city if you wish!

These are from Bay City, the largest city in my current region
Here's City Tower, Manchester and The Bank Of America, San Francisco (which always seems to appear in my cities)

The Washington Monument, Washington D.C and The Guggenheim Museum, New York City

The Empire State Building and The Chrysler Building, both NYC, plus the CIS Building, Manchester. The Chrysler building overlooks Grow Square, the main plaza in Bay City.

And finally, The Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco
