Transfer energy over several tiles

Hi all,

does someone knows about this detail: is it possible to transfer energy or water over more than one tile? In my current region I placed a power plant in tile A. From this tile I do have a neighbour connection to tile B, and a neighbor contract has been signed. So tile B receives energy from tile A. However, I cannot establish a trade contract for energy between tile B and C, despite there is an neighbour connection. When opening the budget menu, there's no "energy" trade proposal (in neither of both tiles)

So - is it impossble, or what kind of reasons might prevent me from beeing able to set up an trade contract?

Thanks!
If it's a good idea, go ahead and do it. It's much easier to apologize than it is to get permission.

I'm quite certain that it's possible. You just have to make sure that City B is buying more power/water than it needs, then you should be able to sell off the excess to City C.

Fine, thanks ... does it normally take some time for the trade contract to become available? Because tile B im speaking of is lilerally using no energy at all right now - it just has the power line running through from tile A to C. So in tile B im buying as much energy as possible from tile A (1.000 MWh) and using none.
And, thinking of the "enough energy" topic - is there a certain surplus that needs to exists in order to make trade contracts available? Since the initial "offer" from tile A to B was 1.000 MWh - is that the amount of surplus energy that needs to exist for an energy contract to be available?

In my experience it does. Just run it on cheetah for a few months to be sure.
