SC4 Crashes during camera mode in the region

every time i go into camera mode to take a picture so i can upload the region into Simtropolis, SC4 crashes, i hit spacebar twice to make the snapshot bigger but SC4 crashes every time it gets to the second zoom level... every second hit of the spacebar, SC4 crashes

That is a strange one.  I can't say I know what directly causes that, but your hardware comes to mind.

I can help though.  The Camera takes to long to load for me.  Instead I use the "print screen" keyboard button, alt-tab, and then "paste" into MSpaint.  Your image will be your screens resolution, and perhaps to big for posting, but the method is faster.

SC4 startup manager has an option to take a snapshot of the region which will be of good quality.

You could also change the resolution SC4 starts in to make the region bigger or smaller, and thus the initial camera box the proper size.
