The SC4 Devotion Forums are no longer active, but remain online in an archived, read-only "museum" state.  It is not possible for regular members to post or use the private messaging system, and no technical support will be provided for any issues pertaining to the forums in their current state.  Attachments (those that still work) are accessible without login.

The LEX has been replaced with SC4Evermore (SC4E), and SC4E maintains an active Discord server.  For traditional forums, we recommend Simtropolis.

i keep getting an error while importing 3ds files into BAT... I can no longer use 3ds in BAT the error is
""An Error occurred and the application will now close no scene changes have occurred since your last save"" then i click "ok" then another thing happened this time: ""gmax Application has stopped working"" Where's the Fries? (next time we'll wash your mouth out with soap)? why all of a sudden this error and what can i do  to fix this? i cannot import anything anymore (the only thing i have tried is 3ds files that were created in sketch-up)

I haven't heard of the problem before, but best I can think of is to try reinstalling. Not sure what would cause the two programs to conflict, but starting out fresh might help.
