The SC4 Devotion Forums are no longer active, but remain online in an archived, read-only "museum" state.  It is not possible for regular members to post or use the private messaging system, and no technical support will be provided for any issues pertaining to the forums in their current state.  Attachments (those that still work) are accessible without login.

The LEX has been replaced with SC4Evermore (SC4E), and SC4E maintains an active Discord server.  For traditional forums, we recommend Simtropolis.

My disk is broken :(

Is there anyway to get the game to work? For some reason I have always had to use disk 2 as disk one won't let the game start...and now my disk 2 has a crack on it and it don't work :(

Anyway to get the game started?

Buy a new set of disks? I don't know about the UK, but here in Germany, SC4 Deluxe is still available as "budget" game for less than 10 EUR. There's also a download version which is probably even cheaper - and it won't require a disk.

A new copy on amazon is 8£ something. Still cheap.

Steam version (download only, no disk required) costs normally about 10€, but now with the holiday sales you could get it for only 5 euros. Unfortunately, todays sales end after 1 hour so you need to be quick if you want it.  &mmm
Has it really been almost 2 years?
