How to replace maxis texture

I'm going to replace standard white texture to asphalt. Then everywhere instead of the white texture will be asphalt (without use the LotEditor).
And the question - how to achieve it?  :)

you need to find the texture you wish to replace in simcity1.dat then copy and paste the tgi data over to a new dat file with your texture then put it in your plugins. done.
NAM + CAM + RAM + SAM, that's how I roll....
