Hi there,
I want to have a stab at creating a british style city, utilising some of the excellent custom content that's out there. I figured I could block all Maxis buildings (using the block mods) and such allow growth of the downloaded content (specifically gascooker UK suburbterrace lots) However, I cannot get ANY of these to grow in a new city, whilst I get some industrail and comercial lots appearing ok. I guessing this is a problem with the custom content itself, or the file names? CAn you suggest how I can get this working please?
I'm relatively new to citybuilding with custom content so be nice ;)
If this has been covered before please forward me to the relevant thread or to the correct forumn.

For a new city you need to have a certain amount of stage 1 residentials.
And unfortunately none of Gascooker's homes are stage 1.

I've listed some stage 1 residential downloads in this list here. ;)
