Sided Ave streetlights

Hi guys.  Is there another mod out there that can do something like this with the ave streetlights?


I don't mean changing the style of the light, but moving them from the median to the sides like on the NMW networks.  Also, I don't want the plants,trees,etc removed like in the picture.  This was part of I80's Great American Streetlight Mod that is no longer around.  If there is not another mod, could I change the lighting placement without getting rid of the plants?  Also, is there a way to change the streetlights so that the lights are directly across from each other instead of the criss-cross "Z" shape? To something like this (MHW):

Opkl buddy, I hope you were not on this site all day waiting for a response. Sometimes replies do not turn up in a day, but the problem with me responding to you now, is just going to upset you, because unless I missed something, I never heard of a mod that moves the lights to the sides, but keeps the existing plants and other T21 stuff still there in the middle.

I have seen other mods on avenues that moved street lights to the sides, but that too, pulled out the plants from the middle of the avenue. Other avenue mods, like PEG productions end up replacing the middle of the avenues with different plants, but a different type of street light is still in the middle of the avenue.

This said, its not impossible for a mod editing the existing T21's to be 99 percent even on both sides, and just move the lights to the sides, its just more advanced work that takes more time, serious coding in the ilive reader program, and someone making a dat file. Believe me Opkl, if I knew, I would of grabbed such a mod that did what you asked a long time ago, guess a search again would not hurt.

Ok.  I can live without the trees.  No problem. What are the other mods you speak of?

On the STEX, the original TLA, moved the lights to the side of the avenue. It was 2 seperate dat files. One was the TLA textures for avenues, but the other only move the lights to the sides of the avenue. I think the guy that uploaded it was ryanbsc4, but I am not sure anymore.

Wasn't that file locked due to the NWM?

Initially, it was locked, but eventually was just deleted.  The TLA-5 in the NWM essentially rendered it obsolete.  It should be relatively easy to create a T21 for Avenues that doesn't remove the median decorations but uses side lights, however.  I'll look into it after we're squared away with NAM Version 30.

Thank you Tarkus.  That would be a very nice mod to have.  I always hated the median lights on aves.
