Hello guys, here is my puzzle below. any information will be appreciated.
btw, now can i upload my own pic as my avatar? i just prefer my own one. if not, then never mind. i gonna choose avril :P

my city was full of Porkissimo Paris style seasonal trees. maybe you can click the link of my signature to check some details.

after the release of jenx river bank, i tried to update my pk-tree to the jenx one. i just changed the iid of selected models to the relative pk ones, and the test turned out to be a success. BUT these is still a big deal, the position of those trees are wrong. then i realized that the pk-tree was rendered as an offset, but the jenx-tree is an original model.

so my question is, whether i can take advantage of the "resource key type 4" to move the jenx model to the very position of the pk-trees once located? (maybe at +Z8 +X8)  and if so, please kindly let me know the meaning of every group of data in the RKT4, and how these HEX data function and then how to move the model by modify the value. Thank you.

maybe i could post a pic here:

checking this pic, you could find the movement of all the new models from their leaves, so this is the point, and i'm waiting for your assistance :) thanks guys :) :)

An extra question: have you noticed these talking people on the ground? these are the so called "effect" catalogue. couple of days before i found an excellent prop pack of street still stuff made by namspopof. inside this pack i found crowd variety of people which are very cute and wonderful. then could i replace an animate "effect" with a still property by modify prop's iid to match the effect one's? or maybe there is some other way to make that happen? please let me know.

Thx guys.

For uploading an avatar, I think you need a certain amount of K-points or something.

First, there are some offset Paris trees in that pack too.  I don't know if they are offset the same as PK's, but it's worth a look.

You can offset props in the RKT4.  FrankU made a tutorial explaining the details LINK.  The main issue is that the shadow does not get offset.  You can use Model Tweaker to move models as well.  To make a unique model, simply clone the 20 S3Ds, and have the GROUP ID change to something you think is unique.

The effects have a prop exemplar.  I image that you could change the ID of your prop exemplar to override the effect's one.  I imagine you will have some bulldozing to do...

guys thanks for reply. i tried the model tweaker. it is an excellent tool indeed! i can easily scale models.
this time i dropped the jenx trees and let the cp prop 2009a instead. scaled to 2/3 and selected 4 groups of models and start replacing.
the question that puzzles me is that, the model tweaker simply does not output the right position of my direction, its calculation made the models just "fly" around their lots. maybe something goes wrong. after trail and error, my friend fenda1990 and i decide to manually recalculate these coordinate. this time we finally made it.

here goes the snaps.

and btw, the model tweaker just cannot run at the windows7 x64 environment and maybe x86 either. i ran that program in virtual pc, it seemed a little not that convenience, but fine, we can get over it.
