This is an SFBT rail yard. I have plopped a rail yard down and am not seeing the rail or the ground that it sits on. Even if I plop this on rail it doesn't show up. What could be wrong? I thought of not having the rail texture dependency, but I have all of north country dudes dependencies (can only find two) and can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

Help......

Thanks

Kelly

There're actually three texture packs from NorthCountyDude. This is the most recent, this one includes RAM textures and this is the oldest. iirc SFBT used the most recent texture pack. Hope this helpes!  :)

I was missing one of the textures and now have it, but I am still having the same issue. I'm stumped. Anyone have any ideas?

I think NorthCountryDude once changed some IDs in his textures, so you might have an outdated version or something. For the German release, I put all NCD textures into a texture pack, maybe you try this one: http://kurier.simcityplaza.de/details.php?file=671

That was it!!! Seems to work just fine now.I'm suprised since I have the MEGA pack in there as well. I would have thought there would have been a conflict and the game would crash or I would get a brown box or something.

Thanks for the help!

Brown boxes are caused by not having a dependent plugin, however they only appear if that model is set as the lot's building, and not as a prop. Game crashes can happen for a number of reasons, but the lack of a texture just means that it won't be drawn, and the crashes from duplication are avoided by the way the game loads plugins (if two different ones modify the same value, only the last one loaded is used).

There are some props which will show as brown boxes. I know as I've spent the weekend trying to figure out what was missing.  The 2 I can guarantee is props on a street side mod and tree models for a tree controller.

I always thought it was if the exemplar was present but the model wasn't.
