Guys I'm a beginner to CAM and Simcity 4 and is encountering issues with Buildings loading in my city after installing CAM.

I have followed and installed all the stater packs and dependencies but can't seem to figure out where I am going wrong, all I can see is brown boxes all around My City, none of the new Buildings seem to load.

Can someone please guide me ?

Attaching some screenshots for reference;

Hi kailash9999

Its not clear from your first picture where these files are and if they are in the plugins folder, my files are installed into here

C:\Users\CATTY-HOME\Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins\...

and you don't need to keep your zip files in the plugin folder as the game doesn't read them or need them.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?" DEATH thought about it. "CATS," he said eventually, "CATS ARE NICE.

whatevermind

What you're missing are the models for the lots. In addition to the normal dependencies (i.e. props and textures) that you need for the lots, the CAM starter packs also require you to get the models for the buildings so you don't get brown boxes.

The full list is here. Look in there for whichever lots are missing the buildings, and you'll find the links to the downloads that contain the model files. The only part of these downloads you need to keep are the models. Any lots or desc files that come with them can be deleted.

Good luck!
