Maxis Resrtictions

Hello guys

Today I was testing out a few cities with CAM installed and noticed that Maxis lots were popping up everywhere. It seemed like the BSC No Maxis Lots wasn't compatible with CAM. I had deleted CAM afterwards to see if it was the problem, and it was. I was wondering if there was any fix or modd the restricted Maxis lots (like what caspervg used) or does it require changing the modd itself?

Any help at all would be appreciated, as this is a very puzzling case for me.

This mod blocks all maxis buildings from growing.

Puzzling indeed as I have never had any problems with the BSC Maxis blocker combined with the CAM. The only plausible reason I can come up with is loading order, i.e. camified lots loading after the blocker files thus defeating the purpose.

The weird thing is, I haven't installed any CAM residentials, just industries. The industries and commercials are doing fine, no maxis lots coming out of them, but residential is having a hard time. It just makes the case even more puzzling, doesn't it? I'll try out the link Momo gave and vortext's suggestion.

I'll report back when I get the results.

As a former CAM tester, I've been using it for years now and it never happened before. Of course, I'm using the BSC Maxis blocker on a z... folder as it should be used along with other mods that supposed to load last because of its purposes. I'm sure that is your problem, the blocker it's loading before some of those lots it supposed to block. Just put it on a z folder on your docs plugins folder, not he prog plugins folder.
