Shadowstrike released the Industrial Revolution Mod(IRM) - CAM Version using this method described by Vortext to convert the original mod by T Wrecks for use with CAM:

Quote1) Get the lot exemplar reference for the IRM lot, which conventiently you can get from the name. e.g. I-d1_1x1_90000370.SC4Lot
2) Open the CAM in the Reader, sort by instance and search for the bold number. Once found, write down the Growth Stage.
3) Open the IRM lot at hand and change the Growth Stage.
4) Repeat 249 more times.

But he says the following on the download page for this mod:
QuoteThe lots here cover only the ones in the IRM base pack, and do not include the IRM addon lots.

Assuming T Wrecks' permission to do so could I use the method outlined above to convert the 83 IRM addon lots for use with CAM?

In short no, the same method does not apply.

I just had a look at the addons and apparently Twrecks has used dummy buildings with an occupant size of 2,1,2. This is unfortunate because ordinarily one would run the building exemplars through the SC4PIM to recompute the properties and okay the growth stage. However, since the OS is so small in this case recomputing the properties means you'll end up with 1 or 2 workers per building. It would be possible to make the addons CAMpatible if you first swap out the dummies for proper buildings by changing the RKT1 and then recompute. Seeing there aren't that many building exemplars per addon this certainly is feasible, just not as straightforward as it normally would be.

Can't he (temporarely) change the occupant size of the building for a similar size of that of the building it mymics for recomputing purposes in PIMX and then resize them back again?

Thanks

I'm always lurking around though I'm a bit out of SC4 affairs for now  :-[
But I'm more often around now, so you will see more more often :p

Thanks for the quick response. Ok so I change occupant size using something similar in size as reference, don't save, recompute properties (using the new occupant size), set stage, change occupant size back to 2,1,2 and save.

**edit**
Tried the Addon sets without modified values and I'm pretty happy with the results. Seems to work ok and not sure how big a difference the slight change in values would make seeing as they are only mech and out lots. Maybe if the mood strikes I'll change them to values that work better with CAM. Thanks again for the help.
