Hi everyone,

wouanagaine's SC4 Dat Packer is something I have used for a couple of years now. I was datpacking my plugins folder today, for the first time in several months, and I found this error which forced the datpacker to freeze.

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "datPacker.py", line 1, in ?
  File "datPackerApp.pyo", line 25, in ?
  File "win32ui.pyo", line 12, in ?
File "win32ui.pyo", line 10, in __load
ImportError: DLL load failed: The specified module could not be found.

If anyone has any idea what this means then I will be grateful. Thanks.

It's quite possible that some Windows update rendered some of those DLLs useless, try to install those that are mentioned in the support thread directly into the DatPacker folder, that usually fixes the problem.

Yeap there're some issues with DatPacker on windows nowadays. I never bothered looking into a solution, and switched to using JDatPacker instead.

Thanks for the advice. I have now downloaded JDatPacker.
