The last months I have spend a lot of time walking the streets of the city where I live: Den Haag. Sometimes I brought my camera with me and took pictures of things that caught my eye. Some of these pictures I will show here in this topic. Perhaps I will tell a story or two about them too.

Near where I live I took this picture last spring. The Cherry trees were all blooming and its a beautiful sight.

Today I took a stroll to the beach, which is a 15 minute walk from home. Near the beach is a large Nature Park called Westduinpark. This park is protected nature environment ... with a very good reason as well. This park consist of sand dunes which are protecting the land behind them from flooding. Without the dunes Den Haag couldn't exist.

Here is one example picture of our dunes. Later I will show more.

I hope you like them.

Cherry blossom is always beautifully photogenic.  It's nice to see Den Haag from ground level - I have been taking a close look at the place on Microsoft Live because of the modern architecture.

More photos please ...  :)

Those are some very, very nice pictures! If that second picture would have been a postcard, I'd buy it and send it to the folks back home :)
