General questions on LE and specific questions on airport LOTing

Hope somebody can help me......I've Got a couple of questions......on LE
First if I modify a (lets say) a park lot and "build" an airport lot (base texture, props, etc) where will I find that lot on the game?
Secound, There are some lots that I can't change it's size and I can't use the button "save as"....what's is going on the there?
When I open a R lot, will I only see R related props and buildings?
I'm working on my airport and I would like to have diferent airplanes therefor  I dowloaded a airplane prop pack. I used the PM on the model and now I can see the props. I would like to have this planes on the gates and the runways (I have the ACB-VLT and the RMIP-2 in my plugin folder). First I tried  to use a gate from the ACB-VLT (an empty gate) then I used the prop of the plane Wanted and.......I could not "save as". Then I tried to modify a R lot (because I had the chance to "save as" ) and turn it into a parked airplane but I not sure well be it on the game. Besides i can't change the building   because there are no building in 2D just the default maxis buildings (I don't want an airplane on the runway with a house next to the wing  ).

Well these are my problems. I'm a simcity player since simcity 2000 And I actually think I'm pretty good building cities and specially arports but I'm a real amateur for lot editing and I'm not even talking about BATing...........cause I did not eve try it........ I also read every single tutorial I found and I learned something but I still have problems.
I hope somebody can help me with this questions. I will really apreciate it!!!! And my future CJ too (My first one)

If you use a park lot as a base for a new lot it will show up in the Park menu in game.
RCI lots are growables and cannot be used as a ploppable. If you try to change the building you will only see buildings of the correct type but you can use props of any sort.
I cannot check the RMIP-2 lots to see why you cannot Save As but often this is because they have special properties and should not have a duplicate - reward lots are the same.

Another question, how can I get a 2D  building to place in a lot (I don't want it, 2D buildings are "invisible" if all the buildings in the list are 3D?
if anyone has comments about this issue or any sugesstion....I'll be glad to read it!!!!
