Problems with a few of SimGoober's files (missing Queries)

I hope that I'm posting this in the correct area here.  I just recently downloaded some of SimGoober's files over at the STEX and installed them to my copy of SC4.  Most of them, I haven't had any problems with and they look great in my cities.  However, a few of the files are missing their queries.  This is a problem especially since 1 of them is only a growable and I wanted to mark it as Historical, but can't and it then disappears because another building gets built.

Here's a list of the files that I've had the problems with.  The buildings show up fine with no problems.

Food Lion Shopping Center
Rural Stores
Chuck E Cheeses
Ace Hardware
Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World
Panera Bread Company
California Pizza Kitchen
CompUSA
Circuit City
Dave & Busters
Costco Distribution Center
Cracker Barrel

There might be others that have missing queries, but I haven't found them yet because I haven't either downloaded them yet, or don't have them installed yet.

Is there anyway to get the queries fixed easily, or will I have to wait till SimGoober can get around to fixing them himself and then uploading them here?  If it's the 2nd way, SimGoober, is there anyway possible when you update the "Cracker Barrel" file that you can include a plopable version of it?  This is the one file that I've been having the major problems with because it's only released as a growable and everytime it grows in my city, I can't save it because I can't make it Historical because of the missing query.

So, any help in this would be greatly appreciated.

First make sure you have the latest BSC Essentials Installed. This one: BSC Essentials

What might have happened is that you, by accident, have overwritten the newest version with older version of the Simgoober query file. I had that happen a couple of times myself. I place the essential files in my simcity4/plugins folder and not the mydoc folder as it is changed a lot.

Dude, YOU ROCK!!!!  I had the BSC Essentials already downloaded, so I just re-installed and checked out SC4 with a few of those files that I mentioned that I was having problems with and they now have the Queries showing up!!!!

Hmm, need to go through all of the downloads and organize them... into essential files, mega props and such.. maybe then I will figure out what some of the conflicts are.

Just bumping an old thread....


I noticed that the Bingo Hall Reward and the 9/11 firehouse station are missing the ground textures.  Yet the files are dependancy free...  what am I missing here?

I checked the files and both use Maxis textures so there should be no problems. If this continues it may be that you need to re install SC4.

I had to restart the city, and it worked.
