Problem with textures in 3dsmax9

Hello everybody  :),
hope somebody can help me, the search engine didn't throw out any results.
I am working on a building and I want to put textures on it, but all I get is a grey wall in the same color :

I`ve tried textures, but every time the same problem  ()what()

Well, I think that it is very easy problem.
These wall does not have the Mapping-data.
You didn't check a check-box "Generate-Mapping" before wall's objects change to "Mesh"or"Poligon")
so You have to give UVW-MAP or Unwrap-UVW to these objects(walls).

 Sounds like the "show map in viewport" icon is not activated in your Texture editor.  Select your texture and then click on the blue & white box icon under the sample slots.
