Does anybody know how to do this?  Every time I've imported new RHW pieces into SC4 to test them out, they are always compressed.  Does anybody know how I can import non-compressed ones into DAT files for SC4?  I just mainly only want to make the 128x128 versions un-compressed.  The smaller versions, I have no problem with them being compressed to save space.  I know there is someway to do this since Maxis has a few un-compressed road textures in their own DAT files.

Any help or suggestions you guys can provide me to do this would be greatly appreciated because this is driving me nuts.

Take a look @ the JPG Compression tutorial.  A must read to help cut away unnecessary file size from 500k+ images to help dial-up users out.

Maybe you can try "Insert File" instead "Insert and Compress File" ...  just in case...  ::)
