Hello

I think this is the correct bard, but if not please notify me.

But back to topic. I request an automata replacement for the ingame passenger trains. I would like if they looked like the danish IC3 or IR4 train (they are very similar).

Some pictures:

IC3

IR4

Hope somebody would make this:)

Hej Der

Velkomme til forumet. Rart at se en mere fra Danmark.

Jeg har overvejet at lave IC3 og det nye IC4, men har ikke rigtig tid til at få dem lavet. Det tager en hel del tid at lave automata.

Husk at sætte din nål i kortet.

Vil lige gøre opmærksom på Skandinavisk supportforum

Signatur billeder må maks havde en størrelse på 300x50 px.

Hi There

Welcome to the forum. Good to see another one from Denmark.

I had consider doing those trains, but can't seems to find the time to make them. It do takes some time to do automata.

Hi there,

maybe it would be easier to get someone to make it if we tell them that the IC3 is the Flexiliner Amtrak use(s/d)? "$Deal"$

If you need something at least resembeling the IC3-trainsets you can use WMRT Trains (from the STEX) based on the Melbourne trains -- it's not perfect given the three doors and mix of colours where the windows are, but it's mostly bright and might well serve as a Danish IC train or an American Flexiliner.

Anyway, the IC4 would be awsome -- exactly the kind of mid-class train that's missing between the ICE and TGV on the one side and locomotive pulled trains on the other. Another good candidate is the Norwegian Signatur-train (BM73), which has already been done, and although the model is nice enough, it's too smooth (doesn't catches the thight curves shown below). The IC4 and BM73 would be great choices for automata as mid-speed (about 200 km/h) models -- the IC4 as diesel and BM73 as electric.

It's a beauty -- and a joy to ride, although Norwegian authorities limits top speed to 160 km/h (can be used at 200+)
