SC4 Subscriptor paypal?

OK I don't know if I am the only one to notice this new label, but I would like to bring attention to it...  I noticed this above Joe's name as it seems he is the first one to get it...

Now my question is that from what I understand Joe gave threw paypal and gotten the label is that correct? Also is that all you got to do? Also is there a certain amount that is needed to donate threw paypal... Sorry I am asking many question but hey curiosity killed the cat...

EDIT: But my donation is my knowledge the custom content I create. That counts for something!

This new feature is being tested and polished yet. It will be publically announced once we check that everything works the way we expect.

However, a donation is not the only way to support the site (although welcome  ). You can support the site actively participating, and specially posting your tutorials about playing/customizing the game. This has been said from the first day, and it remains being a very welcome way to suppport the site and the community

How long after one pays for a subcription does one get the handy dandy benefit of ad removal?

I only ask because my paypal receipt is dated Sept 10 and 6 days later I still get ads on the forums.
