How can I install Plug In Manager without Gmax?

Hi everyone,

Well, I've played around with Lot Editor some.

I've been able to use ILives LEProp with some Lots - but sometimes it won't open some new lots.

And I've read about Plug-In-Manager, and guessed that was important for me to have when it comes to lotting.  So, I went over to the EA/Maxis site to download it.  I see it's part of the BAT, so downloaded it all but it will not let me install it because I do not have Gmax.  But it seems you have to pay to download Gmax.  Now, at this stage I'm not likely to actually create my own Bats (maybe one day....), so I don't really want to pay for a program that I don't want just to get plug-in manager.

So, do any of you know how I can get plug-in manager without having to install Gmax??  Or alternatively is there still a free version of Gmax out there?

gMax is still free. Just need to download it from another place: turbosquid.com

Thanks for pointing me to that.  Successfully downloaded and installed.  Got Plug In Manager working as well - just need to work out exactly what to do with it now!!!

You can use it to create valid SC4 buildings/props (.SC4Desc files) for your lots, using existing SC4 models (.SC4Model) files
