This is CAM related.

Is there anyway I can have an icon/program on my desktop that renames 2 folders.
One of them my CAM plugins and the other non CAM plugins.

I have a big hard drive so i don't mind having double files of lots/bats/etc. So what i do is  rename a folder that i keep CAM plugins to "plugins"
and then when i want to not play with CAM I rename it to "CAM plugins".

anyone know of a program that already does that.  Does the SC4SM already do this?

so to recap
CAM play from non CAM play
1. rename "plugins" to "regular plugins"
2. rename "CAM folder" to "plugins"
non CAM play from CAM play
1. rename "plugins" to "CAM folder"
2. rename "regular plugins" to "plugins"

It'd be awesome if it the game would launch after performing the operation
hopefully someone can point me in the right direction

With this info, it should not be hard to write a small app, that lets you choose which folder to start the game for.

For windows, I could write a tray icon app, that you click and choose a location, and it starts the game there.

hopefully somebody writes that program and with an icon that tells your which "set up" is loaded by showing different task bar icons next to the clock

you can also create 2 shortcut on your desktop, one with CAM, one without CAM ( using the UserDir ), so you won't rely on a programmer :)

You can never rely on a programmer  :D :D :D :P :P

sorry wou
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it
