The SC4 Devotion Forums are no longer active, but remain online in an archived, read-only "museum" state.  It is not possible for regular members to post or use the private messaging system, and no technical support will be provided for any issues pertaining to the forums in their current state.  Attachments (those that still work) are accessible without login.

The LEX has been replaced with SC4Evermore (SC4E), and SC4E maintains an active Discord server.  For traditional forums, we recommend Simtropolis.

Is the x-tool out yet or isn't it? I read in some places, oh, you need to use the x-tool for that. What exactly is the x-tool? I have yet to find a place to read about what it does exactly. All I know is it is gunna make modding easier. If it is out already could someone tell me where to download it, and if it isn't where can I read about it?

The X-Tool is basically a replacement for the Maxis Plugin Manager, but providing a lot more options and better stats. It's still in beta test within the BSC, though, and not publically available yet.
