tropical terrain & tree controller

hello guys!
   
    with all the wonderful terrain mods and tree controllers we can choose from,
i was just wondering if there already is one for tropical climates. if there already is one, a link would be greatly appreciated. if none, may i request for a tropical terrain mod and tree controller?
maybe a fusion of the desert and italia/columbus plus... tree controllers for coconut trees, palms, some hardwoods, banana trees?

I do not know of one such mod in existence, but I can just imagine the effort and work needed to complete such an endeavour.

I'm not sure if you'll be seeing such a mod anytime soon, if at all, but maybe if you hold thumbs someone will hear your plea and address your concerns and request.

hello! cute, right?  i was trying to look for a picture that looked like my Jada on the net. that's the closest i found. i can't seem to find the camera to put her pic up for my avatar. lol. no problem with the mod and controller. it(my post) got to you.. and i'm hoping it gets to others, too. and hey, who wouldn't want to create an MD with tropical terrains and controllers to match? right? i'm thinking it would be a blast.

I'm sure it would be! And it would come in handy for me too, especially the tropical trees, as my MD is situated on the sub-tropical Mozambican coast.

The master of terrains is Cycledogg, and he does not come very often around here. If you want, you can "easily" make your own terrain mod version, using CD's textures packs, and Thalassicus Custom Terrain Tutorial, available at the Simtropolis's STEX.

About the tree controller, again CD is the person to talk with, but I dont think there are that many tropical models available to create such a mod...I dont know.

ok thanks so much Jeronij, sir  i am intimidated by even trying to make my own custom stuff because i dont have a lot of time to do so. but if i do get the time, i guess i could try. in the meantime, i will hope CD gets to read this thread.  you guys are great!

this would be perfect!! i'm doing a tropical cj at simtropolis. but i had to improvise with the terrain and trees. i just used cycledogs terrain and multiple ploppable tree modds, like palms or so. and it worked out very well!! you just gotta improvise, if wondering how it could look like, look at the : show us your most scenic area, just posted i pic there. (doesn't really show the use of the terrain, but if needed i can add some pics here).
