BSC Texture MEGA Pack

Can someone please tell me where I can get this file.  I need it as a dependancy for Simgoober's Brownstones.  Would not having this file prevent the brownstones from showing up in the toolbox?

The BSC dependencies are on the LEX (link on top right corner of page) .. if you have older file names, there is a cross-reference for them.. (bottom left hand corner of page) Good luck.. Oh, you have to register there and confirm via email, then you may download.. pretty simple.

Thanks, but I've already searched textures on the file exchange, and can't find it.  I have Vol 1, Vol 2 and Vol 3  of the textures but I don't know if that includes everything that's in the MEGA pak.  (I also need BSC BAT Props MEGA Pack SG Vol 01.  I have BSC Mega Props SG Vol. 1.  Is that the same file?)

Those are the only packs you need to have all common BSC textures
(there are some extra packs out there, like Jestarr and cycledog, but these 2 are used most)

BSC Mega Props SG Vol. 1. is the same file as the one you mentioned. If you need a dependency pack from an author, just use the power search on the author name and dependency pack. (some are uploaded under Admin, BSC or BSC Custodian though)

Thanks Capo, you can also click on the "most popular" in LEX and you'll get:
- BSC Textures Volume 1 (as number 1)
- BSC Textures Volume 2 (as number 5)
- BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol 1 (as number 4)

Use Cleanitol (8th most popular download) to make sure you remove all outdated files these mega packs replace.

Thank you both.  Well it seems that I have everything I need, so why don't the brownstones show up in any of the menus?  The buildings are really nice looking and I would like to have them.  The readme says that it will take 22 days for construction time.  Does that mean they will appear if I just zone residential and the conditions are right?

I believe that the Brownstones are growables, as Residential Plops don't usually work so well. So just give it time, they'll grow soon enough. If you like them in the location they do grow, you should make them historic, so that they won't be upgraded as your city progresses.

BrooklynBus: The brownstones are growable only so will not show in a menu. You have to zone for them and wait for them to grow.
Is the simgoober Brownstone set from the STEX? If so I advise you to go to the LEX and download the residential model and lot packs from simgoober. Search for simgoober and go to page 7 of his uploads. All his work is being updated using the X Tool and anything on the STEX is now out dated.

Also, you may want to check if you have the model pack containing the brownstones.  It can be found here.  xxdita is correct.  Growables, which all residentials are, don't show in the menu lists.  Only ploppables do.

skybuilder109: you need to register separately for the LEX. Click on the link at the top of the page and register. Once your account is activated you will be able to download.
