Hi there,

I have no problem using most plugins, but now I have two plugins from SimGoober:
- SumTingWong Restaurant ( http://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=12674 )
- 40 Restaurant Pack ( http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1102 and http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1101 )

All of these restaurants, I have no idea where to find them. I cannot find them in the list of monuments where the other buildings are listed. I have installed all the dependencies listed in the files. Can anyone tell me where these restaurants are located or what I'm doing wrong?

It looks like they are growable rather than something you can plop, you would need to zone for commercial and hope they turn up in the game  :)

Catty is correct and all those are growable so do not appear in a menu.

There are other ways to look at your internal files.
The "Extra Cheats dll." allows you to open up a menu that shows you all of your files that are in your plugins folder.
Then there is the iLives Reader tool that allows you to open up the Simgoober  or any other dat file and look at its contents.
The "Extra Cheats tool is used while you are active in the game. Its also great (and faster at times) for plopping an item that is way down one of your big menu lists.
The iLives Reader tool is worth learning to use even if looking at your big dat files is the only thing you use it for. As an example, it took me less than 30 seconds to pull up my simbgoober dat file that has all the restaurants in it.

Thanks for all the advice everyone! :) And for these tips. Is there any way to plop a growable building?

Or is there a way to assign certain growables? Now if I want to make a European-themed city, lots of American buildings grow up in between as well.

If you have

Buggi's Extra Cheats DLL which can be found here http://host.simvision.net/SC4ExtraCheats.zip when you are in the game (CTRL X to access, then right-click to bring up the dropdown menu) you can use it to plop any LOTs that you want to have in your city  "$Deal"$
