I know there is a way to get rid of them after they've been plopped, but how do I do this? Also, I have another lot that has converted itself somehow to a quasi-seaport and wont let me delete it - and the game treats it as protected zone. So, how do I get rid of these?

Placing the same immortal lot around the embedded lot and then bulldozing the entire mess has always worked for me. For the one on the water front I would raise the land around the bad lot and then place lots around it and then destroy. So far I have always been able to remove all the immortals that are out there.

I thought RippleJet had a list of some of these buildings somewhere... or am I talking about blank lots growing?

For some reason (i really don't know how I came about it), I dezone the affected building then build the maxis primary school on the lot and then bulldoze it.

Again, don't know why but it works everytime for me!
