Diggis

After the corruption in Watersford the Great God Diggis bought down a Pox upon the Land to clear it of the unworthy.  Unfortunately he was a little more thorough than anticipated and ended up making things worse.   ::)  So he cast his eyes around for somewhere worthy to raise his flock while the remains of the Pox were purged from Watersford.  A little upriver a large river delta was bought into existence for the worthy.

Looks great Diggis  The water mod fits the terrain very well. I also like the scattered trees.
Good luck with the competition. I'm looking forward to your pictures  :)

Nicely going, I like the trees around the ponds on the lower left. Good luck with your region.

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it

After the Guv'ner put the rail through BorderTown the citizens started looking round for a nice place to settle.  Despite not having a road connection, or possibly because of that fact, they decieded to settle in the hills of Cheviot.  A small passenger rail station was build to support the settlement.

Farmers began to carve out a livelyhood from the plains.  The rich fertile soils were perfect for the crops the settlers brought with them.

One rich merchant, Mike Hogs, from South Lester managed to escape the Pox with his fortune in tact and set to work building a small retreat.  The road isn't an easy one to navigate and the story goes that it was built in such a way that Mike could sit at the top and take pot shots at visitors he doesn't want.  Lee Cal still refuses to go up after last time.

And at the top of the road (notice I took the photo from the air to avoid using the road  :D) we have Mike's Retreat.  This cabin has seen many a big party.  The last time the BSC met here Jon was left with a black eye, Lee had bullet holes in the bonnet of his car (hence the reluctance to return) and Barby still doesn't remember how she ended up at the bottom of the hill with a pink cap.

With another party planned for August this year we are hoping things will be just as entertaining, although if Jon finds out who gave him the black eye things could go badly for Arne... opps  :-[ I mean someone...
