Now that the main highway and railroad through the region are in place, all that is needed before the region can start to develop is a source of power and water, and a new major road. Mayor Tom got together with the Utilities department and discussed the possible locations for the power and water supplies. After reviewing all the options this is the location they chose (tile I):

This location was chosen because it had relatively easy access to a geothermal source and an underground aquifer. The power is provided by this geothermal power plant:

This large water pump will provide water to the region. It gets some of it's water from the lake and the rest from an underground aquifer:

A few houses were built right next to the power and water supplies so the workers at these plants wouldn't have to commute from another town to get to work.

Now all that is needed is a new major road. Mayor Tom got together with the Transport department and they decided on this plan:

Then new road will be called Route 110. It is an alternate route of Highway 10 that goes through towns that aren't served by the highway. It provides a connection between the towns of Agria in Heves and Matra in Abony, to the future farms and villages in the northern country of Abony, and to towns south of Agria.

Your challenge 2 is well done according to the rules and the demands. You can now play on 2 more citytiles anywhere in your region. This will be a part of challenge 3. Make sure that you have at least 100 citizens in all three tiles you played in (no population max limit).

Lynn and Fred

Ps: You should have indicated on your regionmap which one is your new road. Thanks.

Judgement of Challenge 2

A.  Although the new route gave acces to new terrain and the islands of the river, it wasn't enough access to to the rest of the region as we hoped for. We gave you 3 points for the new route.
B.  Very good choice of powerlots. Although we didn't like the workers being so close to the station, we gave you 4 points for Powerplant challenge, mainly because of the pollution free plant and logical position/location for thermal springs.
C.  The waterlots are simple and again the workers are a little too close to the plant, but the combination of both in one location was a great idea. We gave you 4 points for your waterpumping station challenge.

Total of 11 Points added to your challenge.

Congratulations, the combination of the two together in one location was appreciated, otherwise the points, because of the workers too close, would have been lower. Good luck with the next one.
