Hey All,

Welcome to my first CJ/MD here on SC4 Devotion. I will hopefully stick with this one. I've decided to call this one Chandler. It started as a very small agricutlture town, but as you'll soon see it turned into a metroplis. Now onto the pictures.

This is how it all started. That little corner of commercial businesses is the downtown. All it was back then was agriculture.

We celebrated our First Fourth of July. Everyone went down to the Santee River to watch their neighboring city show off their cities fireworks.

As you can see Chandler was a small town. Some folks liked it while others wanted it to become a sprawling area like Nyhaven.

The city council soon met and tried to see what they could do to attract new families to the area. They figured that they could lower taxes and build better - high capacited roads.

This was great news for CDOT. The were always ready to build. Within a few years they built a Highways C-52 and C- 17, which you'll be seeing the most of.

Here are a few pics of what they came up with.

That one is my favorite. The engineers sure do have good taste. ;) Their plan worked. After these Highways and Interchages were built more and more sims started browsing the area.

Next time, you will see Chandler and the results of what happened after they built the new roads.

I hope you are getting a feel of what is to come. Please feel free to post any questions or comments. Constructive Criticism is also welcome.

Thanks for viewing,
Shaylan

- P.S. There will not be any more pause boxes on my pics. They were taken before I got used to the camera feature.

Excellent start!  You've done some neat stuff with the RHW interchanges!  Considering the size of the town, looks like they've got some severely over enthusiastic engineers in the area!  I'll be interested in seeing where you're heading here.

First of all, kudos to being the first to reply. &apls &apls. Secondly, thank you for your kind words. I usually don't like RHW, but I got into it last time. I guess the engineers were just preparing for the future. To see more, stick around, because in a few days you will see the amazing results.

Thanks for  viewing!

Thanks to everyone, who viewed the MD over 70 times within 24 hrs.

Now as I promised..............

UPDATE 2!!

The first  pic is  the same as the first few pics of the last update, but was taken many years later.

Look at all the growth spreaded out in the northern part of Chandler!

I just love my burbs.............?

As we reach this highway

we are prompted with the following sign:

We are going to continue going west as the C- 17 terminates to a surface road.

As more people move into the area healthcare and religion has become a must.

Here is where the C - 17 meets the C - 52

With the anticipated sprawl jobs are a must. The portal to industry is here!

So, I will leave you with this final picture leading us into our neighboring town of Safford, which will probably be for my next update.

I know this was a long update, but I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did writing it. Please feel free to ask any questions or comments. Constructive Critsicism is always welcome.

Until next time,

- Shaylan

Very rapid growth here already!  The new trees look great.  Those suburbs are very interesting, the large swaths of green space look very nice!
