Changing to a higher resolution

Is there a possibility change the resolution in SC4?
I have Monitor Samsung SyncMaster P2250/GT 120 graphics card 1 giga memory
My optimal resolution is 1920x1080,such a resolution would be in the game.
Somebody help me because I do not know whether it is possible to change the resolution in Simcity 4.
Would you please explain how to do it if it is possible.

So pretty much you want to do this...
-right click SC4 shortcut
-click properties
-under shortcut, (should already be there)....

  Replace with this vvv
"C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Apps\SimCity 4.exe" -l:english -Intro:off -CustomResolution:enabled -r1920x1080x32

From what you said, your resolution is 1920x1080. Just copy-paste that target and it should play on your resolution.
