Replacing Dark textured road by more realistic gray

I find all the road textures really to dark.
I d like something gray, just a bit darker than the street textures, but not darker as the existent ones.
I searched the Lex and Stex, installed NAM and other various plugins but didn't find yet something closer with what I want for my French country. Even the Euroroad texture are not exactly fitting my needs.
Do some teams would like to work on this project ? If needed, I could participate for the textures. But I haven't got the knowledge nor the time or envy to doing this alone...

Thank for the quick answer Arthur but it's not yet exactly what I mean. I would like something really gray. Darker than the street gray but really gray. As the real road in France. They are never black but gray...

The author of this mod is a member of SimcityChina, and I know he has made this mod, so I can find it.

Add: This mod was updated in 2007, so the textures of the new puzzle pieces of NAM don't be effect by this mod.

Thank you very much Bobbi. Effectively, I e just tried this mod and as you sait, it didn't work with my june 2009 version of NAM.
I am so sad of it...
So now my question is : do someone is going to do something for that ?
