New small mod request - "map key blocker"

I wish someone who knows what's going on in SC4 would make a mod to stop that *$(*#&& key from popping up everytime I click the "query route" alt-? tool. I HATE SEEING THAT!!!!!!! Every time I use the tool I have to close that goofy key.. for pete's sake I KNOW WHAT THE KEY IS.. LOL ... SAVE MY SANITY (or what's left)

I understand your problem, but is it really that annoying?

absolutely it is! It blocks a significant portion of the screen and most important, it is useless.

I tried getting rid of this, and for someone reason if you remove the keys in the box it removes the arrows on the roads/networks in the game because the key can also be used to filter what traffic is displayed, so if you remove the checkboxes, when the game checks to see what traffic to show it sees them all as false because the checkboxes don't exist.

Well... Z made a 'larger news window' mod. Perhaps it would be possible to use the same method to make a 'smaller transit query window' mod?

I don't necessarily want it removed.. it DOES serve some tiny purpose.. on the RAREST of occasions when you want to seperately view the morning  and evening commutes.. or on that occasion where you want to turn off something to make viewing more clear, but all I'd like done is for the window to come up with the KEY set to "minimize"

I don't think thats possible tbh, as when you click the minimize button the actual code that does the minimizing is in the exe.

But could get rid of some the space the colours to make it smaller., even maybe have the traffic types show up when you hover over the checkboxes like a totip making it even smaller?

Attached is a zip file with 3 dat files in it, one for each type. Only put one in you plugins folder.

Hopefully one of them will be of some use.

Excellent work.. those are great options... (*&&^* .exe!) .. I KNEW someone had to have addressed this issue... its soooo annoying!   Thanks for the work fellows!! I think I'll give each of them a try to see what seems best to me.. but I bet others will use them too!
