Looks great, my friend. Also don't worry about the house, when it grows, it grows, eh? :)

Wow, Cedar has grown alot already.  :) Im interested on how the city will look in the distant furure. Another interesting thing is the street layout... I like how your starting to diverge from a grid the further out you go.

kwakelaar

Lots of new plans for Cedar since my last visit. The council seem to be quite ambitious about the future for the town.
Great reading and some nice shots from the latest developments.

Hmm, I can see the city is expanding to the north along the railway, great choice. But I still don't like how looks the railway at the left of the pic, the transition to the diagonal part should be with the smooth curves. Or even without a diagonal but a FARR ! Anyway, nice to see some before-after picture once again !

take care,
-Arthur.

The State of Nesara: Update Twenty-Two

Population: 15,131

Nesara Council Headquarters Completed

Today marked the first day of operations for the Nesara Council in their new headquarters, called the Council Building. After a few electrical problems caused delays, James Brooks headed a small ceremony before the Council Building was officially opened to the Nesara Council employees.

Shots of the Council Building. The construction site in the first picture is the new Chamber of Commerce Building.

The Nesara Council currently has 5 departments:

Nesara Natural Resources Commission (NNRC): Originally called the Nesara Fuel Authority, the name was changed when the council decided to put all natural resource-related issues under one department, renaming it the NNRC. Although a small budget has been set aside by the council for exploring the vast wilderness of Nesara for natural resources, the initiative has not really taken off yet. They currently own and operate the only gas station in Cedar.

Nesara Properties Authority (NPA): Also the subject of a name change, the NPA used to be called the Nesara Lands and Real Estate Authority, but was renamed for the more tongue friendly NPA. All matters concerning lands, buildings, properties, etc., run through the NPA.

Nesara Police and Fire Department (NPFD): Operates the police station and fire station in Cedar, and doing a good job at it since crime levels are some of the lowest in all of the US. The fire department has yet to let a fire, whether urban or wilderness, get out of hand, and with a growing number of employees, safety remains a top priority for the Nesara Council.

Nesara Department of Transportation (NDT): The NDT is the most recently established department of the council, and will handle all matters pertaining to transportation, as the name states. Currently overseeing the expansion of Intersection Street, their most recently completed project, the Ravine River Rail Bridge, has been called a success.

Nesara Chamber of Commerce (NCC): Established to help supervise all internal revenue and accounting matters of the council, they have most recently been given the job of overseeing the state-run Bank of Nesara. The NCC is the only department which will not be housed in the new Council Building; they will have their own building across the street from it.

Finally, we will leave with an eye-candy shot of Cedar at night. Enjoy!

A nightshot of Cedar.

Wow, amazing work here, my friend. Cedar is looking really beautiful, and it's growing more every day. I especially like the new Council Building, that's a wonderful BAT. :)

Waow, a very nice council office complex there, my friend ! I like how it blends with the residential development. Also nice work as usual with the smallest details, such as the open grass-brush areas, Nedal !

Take care,
-Arthur.

Firstly, I want to reassure anyone who has followed this MD that it is NOT going to die  ()stsfd()

The reason for the absence is that on June 18th, I became an engaged man. That is why I havent had any time for SC :)

Given that, I will post an update in the next few days, and hope you all will enjoy it!

 Congratulation Nedal. &apls
Does your wife know about your SC4 addiction?  Or better still, does she know our addiction to your MD? ;)
I wish you two all the luck and happiness in the world!

Congratulations, my friend.  &apls

I must echo much of what Robin has said, and I find this a perfectly good reason for a small absence from your wonderful MD. Congratulations again, my friend!  :)
