Thanks for the positiv feedback, I will do replies at the next update. I was recently on holiday in Italy, and while I was there I had loads of good ideas for my CJ. One idea that struck me was a design for a hotel in New Haven, so as this morning I got working on it, after a few hours on and off work here is what I have:



There is still work to do; detail on the reception/lobby,windows, roof junk, interior details and of course any final touches. One thing I am not happy with is the texture on the base of the roof structure, I will likely change that and maybe the texture on the lobby glass too. Comments and criticisms gladly welcomed!

Lol...as i said on ST....i'm not keen on the roof texture but the dome thing at the bottom is quite unique

To occupy my time the last few days I have been working on another BAT project, this time an integral part of the city's history - the castle!



My plan is to make three (maybe even four) versions of this model. The first will be it on it's own. The second will include stands that are erected during the Tattoo season and the third would be of a Tattoo performance in progress with the bands and everything going around the esplanade (the possible fourth would be of a concert in progress, something else that the castle is used for often).

Looking forward to comments on this!

It's Union Day! The celebrations are underway in Calderwood with the charity benefit concert also taking place. Fireworks are cued for tonight at 11pm GMT-3, which means I will be bringing you pictures of them tomorrow sometime.

I do have today's Calderwood Today, and there is a fascinating front page debate on the benefit of the SCJU in the last two years on Calderwood!





Remember to come back tomorrow to see pictures of the celebrations, until then, party just like everyone else across the Union!
