Heyho and welcome to the fourtysecond update of my CJDragon Islands, Today I will show you a Place of Dragon Islands I really like.

But first, we have to go there. By car, for once.

My car is that cobalt blue one marked with the arrow, Jump in! I'm heading out of Jiā xiàn (佳县) a small but international town.
01

But first we have to cross one of the local tracks. In earlier days this was the end of a main route, today it's only a local route taken by a railtaxi that connects the town with it's small industrial area.
02

Let's head along this road.
03

There is a rail depot next to the city, some of you might remember it. A couple of JR 300 and CRH1 are parking there.... It's also the place where a lot of HSR trains get repaired and serviced.
04

Bt we're heading on towards north, more or less, at least. First a long piece to the east, than some meters to the north, than about a kilometer west again and then, finally, to the north.... The disadvantage of mountains.
05

That's a nice place....
06

The founders called this golfclub "Dragon Golf Club". Typical name for this region :D
07

And it's this golf club I want to show you.
We arrive at the clubhouse.
08

Let's go and warm up at the Driving range. Some Drives, some Pitches, some Putts.
09

And now.... Enjoy your round on the hilly nine-holes-course :)

Beautiful course, I can't wait to try building my own now  ;D  Looks like a pretty good score to me--the point of golf for me is to relax outside with a beer and appreciate the small handful of good shots I may hit ;)

nbvc

Great work with the golf club.

RickD

I was just going to ask you where you got this great golf pack from.  :D Looks like I have to revisit the golf courses in my region. And add some missing holes while I'm at it.)  ::)

Heyho and welcome to the fourtythird update of my CJ Dragon Islands.

Today we will meet our JR0 again which came back from the depot to carry us from Shì Shuixí to the Dragon Islands international airport.

Well, here we are again... this must be the 6th or 7th pic of this station.
01

So... nothing much to say... let's leave the city.

Here we go, we cross the bridge. The traffic jam is very unusual for A3 at this hour.
02

This time we won't follow HR main line, This time we will follow the West DI Rail line.
03

Passing through the rice...
04

The tracks coming from the top are mostly used for freight trains only.
05

Some tunnels provide a very even way for the tracks through this mountainous island.
06

The track going to the bottom belongs to Songlín Line.
07

Some more pics between our last position and the rail station of Ying Yá can be found at the Songlín line entry.
Ying Yá. Our first and only stop.
08

Now we're entering the longest straight piece of rail in DI... until now. It's 9,5 kilometers of straight track. Speed is limited to 160km/h(100mp/h) because of the tunnels and small stops along the track. The road running along is still A3 in it's cheap buildt apperience, no need for a complete motorway over here.
09

10

It's straight...
11

...and straight....
12

...and straight
13

Now we're passing by at an industrial area...
14

15

Still straight :D
16

Finally! The long awaited curve.
17

18

Passing Jia xiàn....
19

Ey, this Velaro (CRH3) could not have appeared at a better second =)
20

Passing the depot again.
21

The track leaving to the left is taken by through trains to Lòng Chèng or farer to the east, it connects the rail line with the shinkansen station... (Well sometimes shinkansen, sometimes china highspeed train... Current vehicles in use: JR300,JR500,CRH1,CRH3)
22

23

Another Velaro at the best second =)
24

Approaching the Airport terminal.
25

Airport terminal, a 10 plattform station. Currently only 4 plattforms are in use but service will be increased as soon as the rail connection to the west is finished. The shinkansen trains stop at their terminal about 400 meters away, connected under street level.
26

Our JR0 leaves late at night after beeing diescovered and occupated per some hours by a group of railway fanatic tourists :D
27

A routemap(and even timetable)
28

By the way, normally HR uses theese vehicles for the airport train service... Something between JR 681 and a train for regional services.... My first SC4 trainskin... I call it HR-E1000:D
29

I hope you've enjoyed this update, greetings, Skimbo. =)

Beautiful update!  &apls   That is one very long straightaway! Your new train skin looks great

It looks like you have room for a right-turn flex-fly piece for your RHW in picture 16 which allow a nice smooth curve...

Can I ask what train station is that in picture 8?

I always love visiting here!

Tomas Neto

Great update, my friend!!! I liked a lot of your railway, forest and the rural area too!!! Awesome work!!!  &apls &apls

Fresh Prince of SC4D

Look what we have here!  :shocked2: great railway and landscape. And did you BAT the train yard?
Returning from Call of Duty . Must rebuilt what I destroyed....

Heyho and welcome to the fourtyfourth entry f my CJ Dragon Islands.

To day we visit this place: The "Flower field", opened one month ago...
1

"Flower Field" is the nickname given to Dragon Islands International airport because of it's apperiance, billions and billions of flowers along the runways and taxiways, it does not smell after flowers, it actually stinks after them.
2

A cargo plane rolling to the next taxyway...
3

Another one starting into the air...
4

Two of the runway endings, 18R is only 1200 meters long while 18L provides 2400 meters of fresh asphalt. Runway 18L has already a tragic history after beeing open for one month only, two incidents. The first one happened before the runway got it's concrete, A pilot of a freight machine mistook it for the small and short runway of the only 2.4 kilometers to the north positioned old airport of Lòngchéng and landed on the gravel strip, the boeing machine got out of control and the whole plane crashed into some parking trucks. The second incident was an emergency landing that nearly lead to a runway incursion.
5

6

The crossing of the two main runways it depends on the wind which one is mainly used.
7

Some hangars
8

9

10

This is the big section for business jets and regional planes. in theory, this place can be easyly expandet for beeing used by big planes.
11

The termnal and the rail station, mostly asian airlines.
12

13

14

15

The whole a bit oversized terminal complex.
16

Another plane makeing it's way to the runway.
17

And an overview:

Wow you can be proud of yourself  &apls. It's a really nice airport.

noahclem

Great job with your airport!  &apls   Designing one is an intimidating project and something I haven't attempted yet. Thanks for the PM!

kwakelaar

Nice set of updates, both the golf-club, the high-speed train journey as well as your flower filled airport. I especially liked picture 9 from your airport update, great detailing there.

Paul 999

The last updates are really good i love the railways and highways. And the 2x1+1 lanes motorway is a good idea.

This update is also great, beautiful airport! And that modern rail station looks good, where have you get them?

Tomas Neto

Yeah..., great update my friend!!! Awesome airport!!!  &apls &apls

bat

Two fantastic updates there! And the airport is looking really nice!!
