Hey David

been a long time since Iposted anything to you here, but I got a question about your railroad.
Never did find out if you went witha modern diesel powered system or stayed with steam. Have you even considered placing perhaps a historical steam train in?

Don't forget Shadow Canyon in the Gazetteer!

It seems you're planning a history for the area from your last few posts, so, just a little reminder. :P

This is a good idea, you know, compiling a comprehensive database of various places and features in the Three Rivers Region.

That attempt at Thunder Crack looks pretty good (though I'm sure you have something even better planned for it). What stands out even more (as far as I'm concerned) is the Gazetteer pieces shown together as a whole. It's not only a great way to get information about the region (or one's particular quad) but also a great way to see how far this has come since its beginnings. Hope all is well for you.

Just a note to let you know I remain one of your most avid fans, and as always, looking forward to more gorgeous scenery.
And BTW, do I get an award for the 1291st post (1(29)1)? 9+2=11, and that ought to count for something. Well OK, maybe not this time, but you can't say I didn't try!

Until next time ...

Joan

Haven't forgotten how to use a pen...

The primary road network is another huge step toward getting the quads in the hands of the collaborators.

David

p.s.:  btw, I sure wish this worked better.

Kevin (BigSlark)- That's the primary system only.  No freeways, no secondary roads.

David...a road map. You've made my night, my friend in the land of the midnight sun.

So, I have a question. Is this map the "end all be all" of the 3RR road system or is it the "base map," to be supplemented by future road and highway projects?

Keep up the good work!

Cheers,
Kevin

I assume you're referring to the funny little intersection created?

Try drawing the mainline first then draw the side road. It should give you a normal intersection.

Brilliant work on the map, my friend! And Thunder Crack is coming along quite nicely, too! I like the horse and the deer in #2.
