SC4 Mapper and Windows Vista

I came back into Sim city 4 again and have vista now. But when I downloaded the mapper program and patch, I can't seem to get it to work. any help please.

From what I read and the impression that I got from people I asked was that Mapper didn't work with Vista at all. I was told to find a computer running Windows XP and run it on it.

Mapper can work in Vista, unfortunatly with some window user names it failed

samoyed1958, there is certainly a SC4Mapper.Exe.log next to the exe file, paste its contents here, so I can try to help you

I hate to hijack the thread; but I get it running as far as the splash, but nothing after. May I post my log so you can analyze it as well?
