OK, I can help you with that. The LRM contains quite a lot of light props, but fortunately, some always have the same light color. By the way, I believe you have the following colors for the USL, right?:
- White
- Orange
- Yellow
- Green
- Blue
- Red?

Best,
Maarten

Yes, these are the colors. I'm using your LRM textures and some of the cones, that's why LRP Prop Pack is a dependency. I also added new, much larger cones to allow cone overlapping, and therefore uniform lighting. As your light cones were not designed for overlapping, there are minor issues with it. I created new cone textures, which works better, when overlaps, and makes more uniform illumination, but with slightly decreased overall brightness. Both version will be included, and user can select.

ResKeyXm property of diagonal STR lights should point to a real mirrored model (to keep compatibility with other mods), while all other lights must point to the same model in ResKey and ResKeyXm. Be careful with the offset roundabout light, the ResKeyXm line contains different position for the cone. I'm using the 1DFB lot light model in roundabouts, because the NAM uses that too for roundabouts.
There are two 'No pole' light props in the bridge file. Do not add poles to them. Different type of bridges can receive different light poles. Old bridges look better with different lights than steel bridges...
Beta 2 have the full orange light set, and you can copy the cones (size and placement) from it. Placement should be kept, otherwise you risk the illumination uniformity. If you change it, test it.
Unfortunately I only have a PreBeta version in my office computer, and I should send you at least the Beta 2 version to be able to start working on it. So you must wait until Sunday evening, when I can send it to you.

Why not do both?  ;)

Both the candidacy and the STEX can be long, as Simtropolis is down again, and noone knows how long is going to take. ;D

I've discovered a small issue: if you have the USL installed and you save during night time, then all your roads are turning in to yellow (if you have the yellow lights installed).

Oops, I totally forgot about it. I included it in the readme.
The effect probably comes from the fact that I set the AppearanceZoomsFlag property of lamp posts to 0x1F. The default value for streetlights is 0x1E, but in this case the lights are not rendered in Zoom 1 (the outermost zoom), so the city streets would be totally dark in Zoom 1. The region view is rendered from Zoom 1 models, and now light cones are visible, if you save during night time.

Please save your game in day view.
