Hi,

I've been playing with RHW 6C (the UK motorway piece) but it won't cleanly build diagonally up a hill.  Is this a limitation of the game, or my skills?  n.b. I did also try the C4 part, which worked better, but still not perfectly.

Also, whilst I was playing with the 4C part I tried a slopping curve piece, again on a very slight incline, but I could not get this to work either.  Can this piece only be built on flat terrain?

Thanks.

Interesting. By their nature diagonal networks on slopes are a real pain and having one three tiles wide compounds the difficulty. That being said, I'm not aware of any reason why that shouldn't work as RHW slopes are only controlled by your slope mod or the default "dirt road" slope, which is pretty generous. Talk has been floating around for some time of having filler pieces for that network, which would definitely make your problem easier, but nothing has been made as of now (to my knowledge anyway).

Creating the slope you want before hand might help. Long story short, I would suggest you keep trying.

What exactly do you mean by "not cleanly"? Are you unable to drag the road at all? Or does it look "bumby" after you dragged it?

It very much depends on the slope mod you use (if you use any at all?). Older ones might not support the RHW. I prefer one of the NHP Ennedi Slope Mods for RHW.
Sometimes I use the El-rail or one-way road to prepare the slope before dragging the RHW.
