Does this game run well (or at all) via an external disc drive (USB 3.0)?  If not, is there a legal way to play the game w/o a CD?

I recently bought a new laptop that includes dual video cards in place of an internal disc drive (Lenovo y500).  Also, I should note, I still have the CDs and serial numbers for my SC4 and RH discs.

Any help is appreciated.

My previous computer's CD drive stopped working, so I bought an external USB DVD drive rather than replacing the existing drive.  The game worked just as good on the USB drive as it did on the built-in drive.

So, I would say that you should be just fine using a USB CD drive.  ;)
Find my power line BAT thread here.
Check out the Noro Cooperative.  What are you waiting for?  It even has electricity.

Awesome, thanks!  Guess I'll stop by somewhere today and pick one up.
