CAM 2.0 Status.

Hi everyone, long time no see.

It's been a while since my last post and my last download related to SC4.
Anyway, I've recently bought SC4 on Steam, my disk is just gone (has a big scratch on it), and decided that I had to make a fresh restart of my plugins folder since over the awesome years of non stop SC4 enjoyment I've accumulated more than 4GB of plugins, many of them I'm not sure that I actually used at least once.

So I'm getting all the essentials things (NAM, Appalachian Terrain, ARDEN tree controllers, etc.) and I always loved CAM back in the day. So I remembered that version 2.0 was being developed but there's no release yet.
I'm sure this question has been asked probably a million times already but I couldn't find any topic related to it so I just created a new one.
What's the current status of CAM v2? Is it still being developed or has it been suspended?

I'm asking mainly to decide if I download CAM 1.0 or if I wait for version 2.

I wouldn't worry about waiting. Development on CAM 2.0 has been stalled for several years now, and the people active in its development are no longer active themselves. I'd say it's unlikely to come out, however, that's not the end of the world:

This will fix the major bug with CAM 1.0, the one where capacities and such are doubled. Z, as I recall, has something that replicates the DatPacker patching with a plugin. I'm not sure if it was ever uploaded to the site outside the CAM 2.0 forum, though.

Z's fix is uploaded somewhere.  I'll see if I can dig it up.

Sad to hear the news, but I guess my decision just got easier.

Off I go to get CAM 1.0 and study this workforce fix.

Sorry to bump as well, but this fix that people were talking about ... Z's link for it is dead, I can't seem to get a hold of Z either. Any chance anybody still has it and can throw me a copy? Much obliged.
