i fellin love with uki stone walls Funaya docks http://uki-sim.seesaa.net/category/7892400-1.html - the texture is just amazing, and they go both with game and plop water ! What's not to love ? But when when plopped, a funnya thing happens : the shadows are all over the place -- which plays havoc with any MMP :

(thankfully it's OK with other fillers, but.) :

I am no lotbatter, so I don't know : it this fixable ? All those lots are what I call --perhaps mistakenly -- "datpacked" i.e. "file.dat" ; I assume they would have to be de-datpacked in order to be changed.  And if they can be, being no batlotter, bis, I would have to rely on the Kindness of Strangers... :)

I think this is one of the most beautiful Uki's creations, however I don't like x2 and x3 Funayas, so I used ilives reader to cutoff those exemplar files from the .dat file. I gave also 5 CS$ jobs each. I can't share my modified file, but you can use the reader to modify them at your pleasure.  ;D

What about shadows, seems that they are designed to lay on the shore and not on the plopable water, but I don't know much how shadows rendering works.  ()what()

I know about the shadow issue.
This is of those strange bugs in the game. A model that is under ground throws its shadow into the opposite direction.....
When they are props you can edit the "is ground model" property to 0x00 = off. Then there will be no shadow at all. If it's a building I don't know for sure... Buildings don't (always) have a ground model property. Probably because they (probably) are always a gound model. I did not check extensively, so I might be wrong, but it sounds plausible.

Thanks both !:-) As I said, I am no batlotter, I don't tinker with lots (although perhaps I should, but it's a can of worms I am not ready to open, timesink-wise -- just playing, or preparing a region, map and choice of lots, is eating up so much of my life !:-))) I am going to try and plop those on game water, first, not on dry land. And for plop water, if I use them on it, well, it'll be Photoshop Time !!!:-)

yes, I know. But thanks for the thought !:-)
