Welcome Back to Monkey Tail!




This scenic town got its name from the curvy canal which runs through its heart. Monkey Tail is a warm coastal town on the south end of Monkey Island. Known for its golden bananas and great swinging vines, Monkey Tail also has great facilities for residents and business. The canal is a big draw for residents and tourists alike. Rumor has it that a summit between Monkey Island and Qaddro will be held here, as the two nations are establishing diplomatic relations.

The regional capitol has been selected as the site for high level diplomatic talks between Monkey Island and Qaddro.


Just steps away from the statue of King C. George III, history will soon be made.


The site is at the end of the scenic Ringtail Lemur Causeway, which links Monkey Tail to the national highway system. The town is easily reached y road upon arrival in Chimpania.


King C. George III will be in town to personally lead the delegation and to offer juicy bananas to all attendees at the summit.


All delegation members will receive cards to allow speedy access to anything they need in Monkey Island.


Perhaps the Qaddro delegation will also be enchanted with the curvy Monkey Tail canal...


And enjoy luxurious accommodations...


And of course a visit to King C. George's estate in town.


Everyone can have a quick break in negotiations to head over for a free concert... tonight, the howler monkeys are doing Wagner's Tristan und Isolde. This should be interesting...

I've always liked your choice of buildings, Schul, and this latest update proves how important staying true to form is. Love the green areas and colorful touches this time around - and the details. Things like the bistro tables and fountains seem so small but add a lot of interest. So, as always, looking forward to more.

Hey Hey! It's Springfield!




Mayor Teeny welcomes you to Springfield...



Monkey Island has several outlying islands under its control. One of which is the island of Springfield. The largest city on the island is a city of the same name. It's a rather undistinguished town, in many respects, but it does have a most interesting citizenry which does attract the attention of fans from all over. Let's take a tour of the town and see what's going on in Springfield...



We start our tour at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. It produces most of the power for the western part of Monkey Island as well as for neighboring Shelbyville Island.


Nobody seems to mind the plant. It actually has fine homes right across the street.


Springfield Penitentiary... currently housing master criminal Snake and serial attempted murderer Sideshow Bob.

That was not very cheery... let's do something fun...


Anyone up for a trip to the Burns Casino?


Or, perhaps, a Springfield Isotopes game? Go 'Topes!

How about some refreshment? I know the perfect place for culinary delights!


We could hang out at the donut shop with the Chief Wiggum or perhaps get a drink at Moe's next door. Need some expired baby food or perhaps a Squishee? The Kwik-E-Mart is just next door!

Wow, that must be some high-priced real estate - no doubt everybody wants to live across the street from a nuclear power plant! Those are some nifty residential BATs, BTW. Casinos and food sound like a fun combo, so I'm on my way!
