Looks good, water need still some work, I am curious to see how you will deal with it  $%#Ninj2 but i trust you  :P

A view from LotEditor with the four textures created from the single Pegasus' one . As you can see , I'm also using some sparkles_of_purification_small Effects .

These new textures now incrusted in a real picture showing what I'm trying to achieve :

Before :

After :

I need more textures with tiny variations , and to rework some joins .  ::)  Editing Bases Textures and testing them again and again , isn't my favorite SC4 activity !  $%Grinno$%  It takes me a lot of time and , finally , I'm just dubious about the result currently  , so , before to go further I need your opinion(s) ...

Am I on the right way ?  ::)

Thanks .

Cédric.

Cédric, this is way over the top. Absolutely amazing, and the screen grabs are works of art. I'm so glad you posted the RL photo, too - it does help me understand where you're going with this. I like your textures better than the real thing, though. ;)

I do see a few faint lines in the first and third in-game shots where the textures join. You've come so far with this project already, though, it shouldn't be too difficult to iron out the last few wrinkles! :)

More and more interesting Cédric.  &apls &apls &apls

I am really surprising with the results. It's not perfect for time (problem with borders...) but the way is good for me. I just wait for how you will do "curve textures for the angles of the lake"

I have not all the words tonight, but it's a really good and hard job you have done with these textures. Surely more words tomorrow

Those are some very special pictures, and there is certainly an improvement from the before to new set of textures.

My friend, for a beginner, I think you're doing very well with these textures!

It is difficult to tiled textures, which do not give the impression of a repetition.
Personally I create a tiled texture base that serves as background to all the others, then I just add details to the center of each square, being careful not too get closer to the edges.

If I had to create these textures I think I would create this:

To this we must add the tiles for DCB inverted angles.
