Bengt,

Are you going to use the same texture for the tracks that the recently released rail station does?

Cheers,

Great work, thats a BAT I was deeply missing. Another big step towards a more realistic Railway-System.
Hopefully, once the small version proffed to work, you can try some bigger stations, like e.g. the Central Station in Hamburg, Germany: http://www.larsbrueggemann.de/hoch_fotos/hamburg-hauptbahnhof.jpg

The Central Station in Hamburg looks awesome.  The main station down town Toronto (Union Station) is the same way.  The subway also goes under the rail which is under the building.  Incredible architecture, indeed.  I really hope someone can make this a reality.  This type of station would fit much better in a very busy Down town.

The Yonge-University-Spadina Subway Line (And to think, they might adding another word to that!) runs infront of the building, under Front Street. What runs under the rails is actually the 509 Harbourfront and 510 Spadina streetcar lines, while the passenger car lines are at grade in the back of the building under a very ugly iron shed. Although plans are in place to replace it a 80million dollar glass atrium type thing. And as for that bat - yep looks extremely nice! I wish it was a little deeper to match with the 15m hole digger piece but oh well.

Kitsune: It is for 15 metres sunken pieces as you guys first requested.

For those who are wanting Hamburg's Central Station: keep dreaming. I've no interest to make such a thing.

15 meters? ok great, I thought I read somewhere that it was 10meters.

Progress made. Tracks will be made using textures, so "don't worry". More about this in my BAT theard, follow the siggie link.

Welcome to SC4D ¡¡¡

These are nice sunken stations, specially the last one

What we want in this thread is to be able to see the trains running all the way under the station  ...... not easy but feasible  ;)
I am currently not active - Please, contact Tarkus for any site related matter. Thanks for enjoying SC4D :D

Thanks jeronij & Bengt.
I think it's working to pass through the station, but not complete.
Though I used costom LOD which was very tight, I couldn't place props in the LotEditor.
The last picture shows how trains are partly buried in the building.

Anyway, I really hope to see Bengt's finished station, because I like the arena style buildings too.  :)
