I guess this airport is a good 30 years ago by the liveries...

Ha Ha, we'll just call it Retro.

Nice looking airport, and I love how you have used the diagonals from Prepo.

Thanks for the comments, all.

Rooker1: The airport packs are ACP VLT RMIP thingys with lots of acronyms (need icon for brain not working very well on a sunday morning).

Now for an update. Development has sprung up around the newly christened Windmeade-Retro International Airport  ;)

Hotels of varying quality have been constructed on roads leading into the airport terminal:

Restaurants surround the hotels too:

Also there's a small strip mall:

A small chapel sits between the train station and the cop shop:

On another corner of the roundabout stands a grand old fire station:

A small train station provides a stop to a small residential area, before heading underground on the route to the airport:

Yeah, I've stayed in lots of those.

Jen, a visit to your MD is like spring returning after a hard winter.  It's always so fresh here- so much stuff to just breathe in and enjoy.

Always a delight!

Super updates Jen. I really like the older photos from your previous MD's - what you did with gascookers terraces still looks as fresh today as when I first saw it  &apls

Hi Jen_P,

...like spring returning after a hard winter...

dedgren, that's really made my week.

Jayo, some of the trees are available on the LEX, look up Colyn and Andreas. Some of them are unavailable at the moment, I guess Colyn hasn't had a chance to upload them to the LEX yet.

I have been working more on Windmeade, the city surrounding the airport.

A couple of night shots of the airport:

An older neighbourhood, with a few newer buildings:

A few dodgy motels a bit further from the airport still manage to keep a steady clientele. I'm sure the neighbours disapprove:

Welcome to page 16

Wow Jen,

I notice that I regularily stop at your MD.....once every 3-4 months.

I feel so ashamed.

I love the work you show, the English style towns, the Prepo diagonal buildings (ooooh, I want them so bad) and that wonderful airfield. Great work. I am glad I have re-found my way to your MD. keep that great work up.

Well at least I am reply #300.
